Garmin Colorado 300 sudah mendukung peta topografi, dengan design yang lebih trendy, dan posisi tombol menyerupai putaran roda, sehingga memudahkan untuk navigasi. Colorado 300i merupakan GPS Colorado versi Indonesia yang secara khusus dipasarkan di Indonesia.
Garmin Colorado 300 menerima sinyal satelit lebih cepat dibanding dengan GPS lainnya, GPS Colorado bisa mendapatkan sinyal di tempat seperti hutan atau di gedung-gedung. GPS Colorado 300i sangat cocok digunakan untuk petualangan di luar lapangan, dengan kemampuan seperti kompas elektronik, barometric altimeter, menghitung luas area, waktu baik untuk memancing.
GPS Colorado 300i menggunakan peta laut / Bluechart G2 vision dengan resolusi tinggi, sehingga memudahkan penglihatan walaupun terkena sinar matahari.
